My artisan kitchen aid mixer is less that a year old, and I regret the purchase. The actual mixer is ok but my main issue is the quality of the attachments. The powder coating on the aluminium attachments supplied with the mixer is not durable and flakes off, into the food. I cannot use these attachments. The kitchen aid stainless alternatives are very expensive.
